South Korean stocks opened higher Thursday on gains in technology and shipbuilders, analysts said.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) advanced 9.06 points, or 0.47 percent, to 1,930.29 in the first 15 minutes of trading.
