Seoul shares ended higher on Tuesday. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 12. 68 points, or 0.66 percent, to close at 1,940.21. Trading volume stood at 270.59 million shares worth 3.56 trillion won (3.33 billion U.S. dollars). The South Korean currency finished at 1,069.2 won against the greenback, down 1.8 won from Monday's close.
