Seoul shares ended higher on Monday. South Korea's benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index ( KOSPI) rose 8.39 points, or 0.43 percent, to close at 1,964.94. Trading volume stood at 197.87 million shares worth 3.72 trillion won (3.63 billion U.S. dollars). The South Korean currency finished at 1,024.4 won against the greenback, unchanged from Friday's close.
