Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Sunday adding 49.28 points (0.45%) to advance to 10,922.36 points from 10,873.08 on Thursday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 6,908,319 from 8,523,084 on Thursday and the value of shares decreased to QR349,347,173.60 from QR596,394,603.77 Thursday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.26% to QR176.70, International Islamic Bank gained 0.29% to QR68.20, Qatar Islamic Bank added 2.40% to QR76.70 and Vodafone Qatar up by 3.18% to QR11.35. The Banking and Financial sector index was added 0.91 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index fell 0.01 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.28 points while insurance sector lost 0.11 points.
