Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Tuesday adding 31.62 points (0.29%) to advance to 11,051.48 points from 11,019.86 on Monday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 11,515,039 from 17,438,223 on Monday and the value of shares decreased to QR642,346,176.73 from QR826,032,608.58 Monday. The Banking and Financial sector index was up 0.40 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index dropped 0.27 points. The industrial sector was added 1.15 points while insurance sector lost 0.69 points.
