Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Wednesday adding 24.50 points (0.22%) to advance to 11,075.98 points from 11,051.48 on Tuesday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 11,496,228 from 11,515,039 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR969,164,593.26 from QR642,346,176.73 Tuesday. Among the top gainers were Qatar Insurance which was up 1.69% to QR72.40, International Islamic Bank gained 2.33% to QR70.30, Ooredoo added 1.13% to QR143.40 and Islamic Insurance up by 2.89% to QR64. The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.73 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 0.08 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.42 points while insurance sector added 1.39 points
