Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Tuesday adding 5.73 points (0.06%) to advance to 10,044.13 points from 10,038.40 on Monday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 8,555,327 from 11,827,985 on Monday and the value of shares decreased to QR337,101,424.22 from QR400,198,656.38 Monday Among the top gainers were International Islamic Bank which was up 1.08% to QR56.40 , Barwa Real Estate gained 1.95% to QR26.20, Al khalij Commercial Bank gained 3.75% to QR18.26 and Doha Bank up by 0.90% to QR56.00. The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 0.07 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 0.32 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.03 points while insurance sector lost 0.15 points.
