The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Wednesday at 11,346.58 points (2.09%) down 241.66 points from the previous closing of 11,588.24 points on Tuesday.The volume of shares was up to 26,605,741 from Tuesday 14,432,918 and the value of shares increased to QR1,408,341,298.07 from QR 651,622,584.74 on Tuesday.Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share down 3.34% to QR185.10, Qatar Islamic Bank lost 3.31% to QR73.00, Commercial Bank of Qatar fell 2.34% to QR75.20 and Islamic Insurance decreased by 2.75% to QR67.10.The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 2.46% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index dropped 0.71 points. The industrial sector was fell 0.20 points while insurance sector down 1.22% points.
