Trading value this week QR 736,521,953.59 increase by 21.64% compared to QR 605,509,425.64 last week. The trading volume increased by 12.86% to reach 13,615,496 shares, as against 12,063,863 shares, while the number of transactions rose by 8.03%, to reach 10,768 transactions as compared to 9,968 transactions. The market capitalization rose by 0.07% to reach QR 457,161,011,969.76 as compared to QR 456,828,828,139.41 at the end of previous week. From the 42 listed companies 17 ended this week higher, while 23 fell and two remain unchanged. The Industries Qatar led traded value this week, accounted for 22.93% of the total traded value. The QNB accounted for 14.84% and The Qatar For Meat and Livestock Trading ranked third accounted for 13.25%. Banks and Financial Services sector led trading value this week, accounting for 34.95% of the total traded value, followed by Industrials sector which accounted for 32.85%. The Consumer Goods and Services sector ranked third, accounted for 16.89% and Telecoms sector which accounted 6.86%. The Banks and Financial Services sector led traded volume this week accounted for 31.75% of the total traded volume, followed by Industrials sector accounted for 22.77%. The Consumer Goods and Services sector ranked third, accounted for 15.82% and Telecoms sector accounted for 11.65%. The Banks and Financial Services sector led traded number of transactions during this week 30.15% of the total number of transactions. The Industrials sector accounted for 26.50%. Consumer Goods and Services sector accounted for 21.03% and Telecoms sector accounted for 8.17%.
