The Qatar Exchange was down on Sunday 31.30 points or 0.36% to 8,568.35 points from the previous closing of 8,599.65. The volume of shares traded was up to 6,254,667 from 4,847,650 Thursday, and the value of shares increased to QR249,276,053.43 from QR192,213,799.64 Thursday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.72% to QR137.00, Masref Al Rayan lost 0.73to QR27.15, Barwa Real Estate fell 0.98% to QR30.30 and Qatar Telecom down 1.39% to QR106.20. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 8.09 points while the Insurance sector added 6.96 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 8.71 points and the Services sector gained 16.57 points.
