The Qatar Exchange was down on Thursday 28.33 points or 0.34% to 8,393.92 points from the previous closing of 8,422.25. The volume of shares was traded fell to 4,657,462 from 4,712,948 on Wednesday, and the value of shares increased to QR189,790,075.39 from QR183,518,255.22 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Intl. Islamic Bank whose share dropped by 1.30% to QR53.30, Barwa Real Estate lost 0.67% to QR29.50, Gulf International down 0.77% to QR24.50 and Doha Insurance fell 2.27% to QR28.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector fell 60.15 while Qatar industrial sector lost 34.81 points and the Services sector was down 5.31 points.
