The Malaysian stock market ended higher here on Thursday. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) was at 1,619.57 up 5.43 points or 0.34 percent, and the Emas was at 10,987.70 up 22.32 points or 0.20 percent. There were 295 gainers, 293 losers and 315 counters traded unchanged. Turnover declined to 848.27 million shares valued at 1.67 billion ringgit Malaysia (539.93 million U.S. dollars), compared with 1.08 billion shares valued at 2.01 billion ringgit Malaysia on Wednesday.
