LME base metals rise

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher on Wednesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 244 U.S. dollars, or 4.64 percent, to 5,507 dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 8.5 dollars, or 0.51 percent, to 1,678 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 28 dollars, or 1.62 percent, to 1,753 dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 33 dollars, or 1.71 percent, to 1,967 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 175 dollars, or 1.65 percent, to 10,812.5 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 350 dollars, or 2.55 percent, to 14,050 dollars a tonne.
