Japanese shares declined Tuesday as export-oriented issues were dragged down by the yen\'s rise against major currencies. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 59.48 points, or 0.59 per cent, to end at 10,050.39 while the broader Topix index was down 5.03 points, or 0.59 per cent, at 851.02, according to a report of DPA.
