Indian stocks closed higher Tuesday, last day of 2013, to salute a passing year of great challenges and a promising new year. The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark index Sensex closed at 21, 170.68 points, 27.67 points or 0.17 percent up from the previous close of 21,143.01 points.
