The Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) has announced that financial markets in the UAE will be closed on Sunday and Monday, December 2 and 3 respectively to mark the 41st UAE National Day. Market will resume trading on December 4, 2012. The move is in line with Circular No. (38) of 2012, issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, regarding the holidays for ministries and federal government departments and follows consultations with the administrations of the local markets. The SCA administration also seize the opportunity to congratulate the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.
