Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange finished higher Friday to score a gain of almost 3 percent for the week. The most active gold contract for December delivery rose 2.2 dollars, or 0.16 percent, to settle at 1,352.5 dollars per ounce.
