Germany responded sharply Friday to ex-Italian premier Silvio Berlusconi\'s suggestion the eurozone would not suffer too much if Berlin left it. \"Maintaining that a Germany exit from the eurozone would not be dramatic is absurd,\" said German Chancellor Angela Merkel\'s spokesman, Steffen Seibert. Berlusconi, who stepped down when the eurozone crisis threatened to engulf Italy in November, has suggested more than once that mighty Germany might break away from the currency union as an alternative to struggling Greece leaving it.
