French stock

The French stock market benchmark index, CAC 40, gained an advance of 0.35 percent to close at 4202.46 points on Friday, up 14.51 points.
The CAC 40 rallied back over 4,200 points, stimulated by indicators showing that the euro zone grew 0.2 percent in the third quarter and that France was doing better than expected with a growth of 0.3 percent in the same period. Before the end of trading, 27 of the 40 selected companies gained advances.
The top three gainers of Friday were Gemalto, up 5.09 percent, Bouygues, up 4.23 percent, and Technip, up 2.62 percent.
The three companies that lost most were Lafarge, down 0.97 percent, Essilor Intl., down 0.80 percent, and Veolia Environnement, down 0.62 percent.
On Thursday, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.19 percent, or 8.07 points, to close at 4,187.95 points.
