The French stock market CAC 40 index finished on Wednesday at 4464.70 points, up 0.75 percent.
A total of 35 of the 40 selected companies gained advance, among which, Valeo led the gainers with 2.45 percent advance, while Bouygues lost most and decreased 1.76 percent.
