European stock markets rallied sharply in opening deals on Monday as investors welcomed news that the eurozone has agreed to lend Spain up to 100 billion euros ($125 billion) to save its banks. London\'s FTSE 100 index jumped 1.80 percent to 5,532.92 points, Frankfurt\'s DAX 30 soared 2.04 percent to 6,255.65 points and in Paris the CAC 40 rose 1.98 percent to 3,110.96 points. Madrid\'s IBEX 35 benchmark index soared 5.77 percent higher to 6,929.9 points shortly after the open.
