Europe's main stock markets diverged at the start of trading on Monday, with London and Frankfurt higher but Paris down. London's benchmark FTSE 100 index gained 0.35 percent to 6,838.28 points and Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.29 percent to 9,608.93 compared with Friday's closing levels. The Paris CAC 40 fell 0.25 percent to 4,466.13 points.
