The Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) indices were collectively up at the close of Sunday's trading, backed by purchases of Arab and Egyptian investors.
The market capital gained EGP 1.1 billion to reach EGP 501.1 billion after transactions worth EGP 862.3 million.
The EGX 30 main benchmark index rose 0.18 percent to close at 8,942.65 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose 0.67 percent, reaching 569.2 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index increased 0.44 percent to close at 1,095.25 points
