The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) made limited gains at the end of trading Wednesday as investors anxiously wait for Defense Minister Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi to announce he is running for presidency and amid profit-taking operations. The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 0.08 percent to close at 7,374.42 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose by 0.64 percent to 577.15 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index was up 0.61 percent to close at 979.65 points.
