The Egyptian Exchange last week achieved EGP 4.6 billion in gains, taking the market capital to EGP 529 billion.
The EGX 30 benchmark index rose 0.31 percent to close at 9,727 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) inched up by 4.42 percent to 648 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also increased by 3.25 percent to close at 1,181 points.
