The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 124 yen range early Tuesday morning in Tokyo, almost unchanged from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 124.62-63 yen compared with 124.59-69 yen in New York and 124.50-52 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

The euro fetched 1.1014-1018 dollars and 137.27-28 yen against 1.1013-1023 dollars and 137.28-38 yen in New York and 1.0959-0960 dollars and 136.44-48 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
