The U.S. dollar traded at the upper 115 yen level early Friday in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 115.83-84 yen compared with 115.72-82 yen in New York and 115.78-79 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The euro fetched 1.2472-2476 dollars and 144.46-53 yen against 1.2470-2480 dollars and 144.38-48 yen in New York and 1.2452-2454 dollars and 144.17-21 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
