Crude oil prices edged higher on the New York Mercantile Exchange Tuesday. West Texas Intermediate crude oil added 26 cents to $99.17 per barrel. Reformulated gasoline blendstock for January gained 3.84 cents to $2.8187 a gallon. January heating oil added 2.59 cents to reach $3.086 a gallon while natural gas dropped 4 cents to $4.42 per million British thermal units. The national average price of unleaded regular gasoline rose at the pump, climbing to $3.258 a gallon from Tuesday's $3.25, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said.
