South Korean stocks traded lower late Friday morning as investors sat on the sidelines ahead of monetary policy meetings in the U.S. and Japan, analysts said. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) shed 13.75 points, or 0.7 percent, to 1,943.57 as of 11:20 a.m.
