Renault Samsung Motors Co., the local unit of French carmaker Renault S.A., said Friday its 2014 sales spiked 29.6 percent from a year earlier on the back of the popularity of its QM3 crossover and newly launched diesel lineups.
Cumulative sales for the whole of 2014 stood at 169,854 units, up from the 131,010 units registered the year before, the carmaker said in a press release. In December, overall sales moved up 7.1 percent on-year to 23,645 units.
