Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest automaker, said Friday its sales surged 23.4 percent in June from a year ago, helped mainly by a lack of labor strife and a sharp spike in overseas demand.
The carmaker said it sold 261,766 units overall last month, up from 212,150 a year earlier.
