Jordan Telecom total revenue at the year ended December 31, 2012 amounted to Jordanian Dinar 408 Million, the company announced Thursday. The telecom operator’s net profit of JOD 83.2 Million for 2012 is a drop by 7.35% compared to the figure of JOD 89.8 Million achieved in 2011 which was a drop by 5.6% compared to the figure of JOD95.1 Million in 2010. The company’s earnings before EBTDA (Earnings Before Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) was JOD 155.8 Million and total revenue was JOD 408 Million at the end of 2012. The telecom operator’s subscriber base grew by a remarkable 5.13% up to 4 million, compared to 5.3 million at the end of 2011. The company attributed the significant increase due to the great demand for cellular services and online communications. The JOD 1,335 Million market cap company’s share was today trading around JOD 5.32, marginally down compared to the previous day’s closing at JOD 5.34.
