A high-ranking Turkish economic delegation arrived in Tehran on Monday to hold talks with top Iranian officials on fostering mutual economic and trade transactions. During their stay, members of the delegation are planned to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Road and Urban Development Minister Ali Nikzad and Vice President for International Affairs Ali Saeedlou, according to the Iranian News Agency (IRNA). Avenues to bolster regional and international economic ties, removing the obstacles hindering cooperation and fostering Tehran-Ankara trade transactions to $20 billion are among the major topics to be addressed during the meetings.
