South Korea's top 10 conglomerates saw their presence on the local stock market expand over the past four years, with their market capitalization rising 35 percent, data showed on Wednesday.
The combined market capitalization of the top 10 business groups' listed affiliates reached 655.2 trillion won (US$644 billion) as of end-June, which represented 54.72 percent of the total market capitalization, according to the data compiled by the bourse operator Korea Exchange (KRX).
