Al-Zoubi stressed that the meeting with Russia's Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fyodorov, who chairs his government's economic team, was fruitful, in terms of deciding on a number of economic and agricultural issues and will thus lead to even more trade and investment advantages available in the two countries.
He told Petra that the two sides discussed the subject of Jordan cultivating food grain crops in the Russian territory, and the issue will come up again at the Jordanian-Russian Business Council meeting. He added that the private sector in both the countries would arrange investments in grain cultivation, and the two governments would facilitate any needs.
