German investor confidence hit an 11-month high in January, dpa reported.
A closely watched indicator, which gauges the mood among analysts and institutional investors, jumped for the third-consecutive month in January to 48.4 points from 34.9 in December, the Mannheim-based ZEW institute said.
The January reading also beat analysts' forecasts, which had pointed to the indicator rising to 40 points.
