Egypt, World Bank mull $500m fund for develoment program

Egypt's International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr probed on Friday with a delegation of the World Bank a proposed fund for a development program in Upper Egypt.

The team, currently visiting Egypt, has already met the governors of Qena and Sohag along with businessmen to get acquainted with business problems and impediments and how to address them.

A detailed review of the outcome of their trip to both governorates was made during the meeting with Nasr.

Nasr asserted the importance of such field inspections.

The planned finance is worth 500 million dollars.
