Affected-people in Malawi

The African Continent Committee at the Islamic Heritage Revival Society concluded its visit to the Republic of Malawi after delivery of emergency aid of more than 50 tons of corn to 1,600 affected families from hunger because of the floods that destroyed some cities there.
Committee Chairman Jassim Al-Ainati told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) here today that the Committee visited Malawi this week to provide emergency food aid to families affected by the floods, as well offering aid to families affected by severe poverty and floods that led to the destruction of agricultural land, demolition of homes, displacement of 200,000 people, injury of thousands of people and about 150 people who were killed as a result.
He explained that what distinguishes the work of the Committee is the delivery of humanitarian aid from benefactors directly to those eligible, wishing further donations from the good-doers of citizens and residents of the State of Kuwait.
