Forty-one ships, with a total cargo of 2.2 million tons, transited the Suez Canal on Monday.

The north-bound convoy included 22 vessels carrying 1.4 million tons, while the south-bound convoy included 19 ships carrying 800,000 tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
