Red Sea Port

The Red Sea Port Authority said on Thursday that it has taken serious steps to void any congestion of pilgrims returning from Saudi Arabia after performing their hajj rituals.
Among the steps were to increase the number of workers at Safaga and Nuweiba ports to finish customs procedures as quickly as possible, authority spokesman Abdel Rehim Moustafa said.
He asserted that quarantine procedures at the ports were beefed up to be able to detect any contiguous disease.
Coronavirus has claimed many lives in Saudi Arabia and Egypt has taken more health precautions for fear that any pilgrim might have been infected with the killer virus during hajj.
