Rage erupted in the Moroccan streets after a rise in fuel prices in Moroccan markets despite its decline in the international markets.
Earlier, activists launched a campaign on Facebook, calling for boycotting gas stations nationwide for 24 hours.
This campaign is expected to incur on the hydrocarbon sector and other sectors in Morocco great financial losses.
Moroccan citizens also expressed their rage over Minister of General Affairs and Governance Mohamed El Ouafa’s statements in which he denied that the government's responsiblity for the hike in fuel prices.
