HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued Tuesday law no. 2 of 2015 regarding the state's financial system.
The law stated that the 2014/2015 budget extends to the end of December 2015, in accordance to the grounds that the Minister of Finance determines. The law also stated that the provisions of the financial system law are now applicable to all of the government's financial units.
The law also authorizes the Minister of Finance to take the necessary decisions to implement the provisions of the law. Until that, the current laws apply as long as they don't contradict with the provisions of the new law.
All concerned parties must implement the law from its date of issue. The law is to be published in the official gazette.
