Forum on boosting manpower skills

Kuwait is due to host a two-week training workshop, as of December 17, genuinely designed to sharpen human resources' talents, in coordination with the internationally renowned 120-member Association for Talent Development (ATD).
In a statement on Tuesday, Abdulaziz Al-Sanea, Director General of Ibn Al-Haitham Center of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), said the PAAET center would organine the two-week "second training forum themed strategies for managing giftedness and innovation," beginning on December 17.
It will held in line with a strategic agreement bonding PAAET with the ATD, formerly known as the ASTD, the American Society for Training and Development. The ATD is known as one of the world's largest associations, dedicated to those who develop talent in organizations, helping in achieving potentials by improving knowledge, skills and abilities.
Al-Sanea indicated that the participating experts would focus on giftedness management for service of human resources' development.
The new seminar is to be held in response to recommendations by the first workshop that had been held at this level, calling for greater cooperation with accredited international associations in the field.
PAAET's Ibn Al-Haitham Center is, basically, involved in boosting civil servants' skills, keeping them abreast of most up-to-date technological inventions.
