Supply Minister Khalid Hanafy

Supply Minister Khalid Hanafy on Thursday held meetings with delegations from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The meetings took up means to reduce the prices of the imported wheat in a bid to cut foreign currency spending.
The meetings are part of efforts to establish a logistics center for grains and food commodities in Damietta.
Also, they discussed FAO's strategy to cut charges of maritime insurance by $6,000-10,000 per ton of wheat.
