Minister Ashraf Salman

The Investment Ministry is directing equal attention to reforming state-owned companies, which altogether make up 15% of the gross domestic product, Minister Ashraf Salman said.
The minister made the remark during a meeting with heads of the Investment Ministry's eight holding companies on Sunday.
The ministry had announced a plan to reform the structure of the eight companies to improve their performance and preserve the state's assets through re-evaluating the companies and listing untapped assets, Salman said.
