The Cabinet, in its weekly session on Wednesday, approved amendments to some articles of law no. 189 for 1951 on chambers of commerce within the framework of efforts to enhance these chambers and enable the establishment of marketplaces and commercial outlets.
The amendments intend to pump in new investments to promote internal trade in a way that boosts the national economy and creates new jobs.
The decision was taken upon a request by the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce in this regard.
