Egypt's Central Bank Governor Hisham Ramez said on Wednesday that Cairo will pay back $1 billion deposit to Qatar in October.
The governor made the remarks in a phone call with the private owned Sada Elbalad satellite channel, saying that Cairo has paid $6 billion of deposit back to Qatar.
Ramez has also praised a report by the World Bank on Egypt's economy.
