Damietta Port received over the past 24 hours nine ships, including three container ships and six cargo vessels, the Damietta Port Authority Media Center said in a statement on Tuesday.

Thirty-two ships are in the anchorage area waiting for entrance procedures to be completed, the statement added.

The statement noted that 92 cars loaded with 4,746 tons of wheat left the port for silos.
