President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has praised the presence of Bahraini King Hamad bin Eissa al Khalifa at the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) in the Sharm el Sheikh resort.
Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said Sisi met the Bahraini king on the sidelines of the EEDC.
Sisi said Egypt-Bahrain relations are developing non-stop.
The Egyptian people and government praised the results of the summit and the Bahraini king's support for Egypt.
For his part, king Hamad congratulated president Sisi on the success of the EEDC, praising the results of the EEDC that showed the international community's backing of Egypt.
The meeting also pushed forward bilateral ties between the two countries and reviewed regional and international affairs.
