Libyan areas neighbouring Ilizi

Algeria has devoted DZD80 million to help local population in the Libyan areas neighbouring Ilizi (1850-km southeast of Algiers), on Algeria's eastern border, the administration of the south-eastern province said Sunday.
The aid, part of state's efforts to help Libyan people, will be shipped through the Algerian Red Crescent, including staple commodities and medicine.
They will be shipped via the three border posts in the province of Illizi, namely Debdeb, Tinelkoum and Tarat.
A committee, made up of health services, representatives of national army, Civil Protection and national police, will deal with the seriously ill among the Libyan population, at the three frontier posts, provincial sources said.
Associations and citizens in Illizi and Djanet have launched a campaign to collect humanitarian aid, including basic food commodities and blankets, for the Libyan population living in border areas.
